Blue Moon

Blue moon, you were there when I first kissed her
“I love you” to her I would whisper
We were young and very blissful
Now I am alone and I miss her.
Blue moon, we would dance the night underneath you
Like a spell we were fixed to,
We were young and very gleeful
but now she’s gone with no sequel
Why did you take her away
so she could be with you as a star,
Now I dread my days
And wish she was still in my arms
Blue moon, if I sang you a song as I cried
And serenade you with my guitar tonight
Would you please take my soul along
To join her side in the sky

I love the picture with the poem and the sadness both the picture and the poem portray. I wonder what made you think of this theme
